Duties and Responsibilities
The teaching of Drawing and Painting that encourages independent personal expression through a wide range of traditional and contemporary approaches to the subject.
At Gray's we have always adopted an attitude of ‘unity through diversity’ and encourage the students to increasingly determine and drive their own agendas.
Drawing is at the core of the Painting course and Keith is particularly interested in developing ways in which students can engage with the subject and see it as both a vital and relevant activity within their studio practice.
Keith is currently engaged in exploring and developing the relationships between objects, their social history or significance and his interpretation of this through drawing and painting. Trying through a subjective response to make explicit what it is about an object that is either relevant or important.
