Glass Fusing and Slumping (Foundation | EXTRA)
Learn glass fusing and slumping with an experienced tutor on hand.
Spend four days at Gray's School of Art making a colourful fused glass tile, coaster or sun catcher.
2. What you will study
This course offers an opportunity to create a your own individual fused glass designs.
This course will teach students some basic techniques, hints and tips on how to work with fused glass.
Our experienced tutor will give demonstrations on basic glass cutting, mould making and inclusion techniques to create a fused glass piece.
Students will design and assemble their fused glass piece in a day. All work will be fired after the class and be available to pick up and enjoy a week later.
This course will take place in our ceramics workshop at Gray's School of Art.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Course fee: £310 (includes all materials)

All students should be aware that when registering as a student at RGU they are accepting a contract of enrolment. (In order to attend short courses all students must register and accept RGU’s conditions).

Footware: the class will be held in the jewellery workshop. Students will need to appropriate footwear: no sandals, flip flops, heels or crocs are allowed.
All materials and equipment are provided
A complete health and safety induction with take place on commencement of the course.
