  1. Applied Imaging Anatomy - Skeletal

    This course aims to develop the knowledge and skills required to critique normal skeletal anatomical appearances from plain film images.

  3. Image Commenting for Radiographers

    If you are required to assess and interpret diagnostic images to inform patient management, this series of two interactive study days will provide you with the knowledge and awareness required to make informed judgments.

  4. Integrating Fifth Wave Thinking into Professional Practice

    This module is a collaboration between RGU, Dr Margaret Hannah and Andrew Lyon and has been developed to give practitioners in the health and social care arenas the opportunity to explore Fifth Wave within their own professional practice

  5. Minor Injuries Assessment

    This course equips you with the knowledge and understanding to underpin clinical decisions when assessing patients with musculoskeletal minor injuries in an accident and emergency environment.

  6. Minor Injuries Discharge

    This course equips you with the knowledge, understanding and skill to underpin clinical decision making in non-medical discharge of patients with minor injuries in an accident and emergency setting.

  7. National Sports First Aid Course

    Students who successfully complete the course and assessment are awarded a National Sports First Aid certificate and are eligible to register on the NSFA database as a certified Sports First Aider.

  8. Pain Management and Pharmacology for Physiotherapy

    The aim of this module is to enable you to develop critical knowledge and understanding of the pharmacology associated with medications commonly used in physiotherapy pain management.

  9. Practice Education Courses for Allied Health Professionals

    The School of Health Sciences is delighted to invite practice educators to its 2013 series of Practice Education Courses for Allied Health Professionals.

  10. Practice Education for Placements

    This course allows eligible students to apply for professional accreditation from the: College of Occupational Therapists, Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the College of Radiographers.

  11. Promoting Health in Practice

    The module will be of interest to both senior practitioners within the health and social care sector and those wishing to further develop their knowledge base in this field.

  12. Radiographer Reporting

    A series of four postgraduate Radiographer Reporting modules to help progress the careers of Diagnostic Radiographers.

  13. Radiographic Studies DipHE

    Developed to enable qualified Radiography Assistant Practitioners to further develop their knowledge, skills and ultimately their career.

  14. Radiotherapy Treatment Review

    This module will allow you to develop your knowledge and clinical decision-making skills.

  15. Reporting - Principles of Diagnostic Image Reporting

    Using a range of conventional and interactive learning methods, you will develop the knowledge base, analytical, interpretive and evaluative skills required to underpin the practice of diagnostic image reporting.
