The Scholarship

The Kongsberg Maritime Scholarship offers one full time student an award of £2,500 per annum and will be awarded to the successful candidate for the rest of their undergraduate degree programme.

If the successful candidate is studying the MEng Degree programme, they will receive £2,500 per year for 3 years.

If the successful candidate is studying the BEng programme, they will receive £2,500 for 2 years.

Students enrolled in their second year of the course listed above are eligible to apply.

How To Apply

The selection process begins with students completing an online application form which will be considered by a panel consisting of representatives from the University and Kongsberg Maritime.

In making the decision, the selection panel will take into account the applicant’s educational background and achievements, other relevant information given in their application form

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview at Kongsberg Maritime and the award winner will be selected from amongst this group of students.

Renewal of the award after each year is dependent on continued good academic performance.

The closing date for applications is 26 October 2014. All applications and reference forms must be received by that date in order to be considered for the scholarships.
