    The Scottish leg of the challenge, co-ordinated and hosted by RGU, saw 11 schools put underwater robots they have designed and built to the test on Thursday, March 31 at RGU’s Sir Ian Wood Building.

    Dr Firdaus Muhammad-Sukki is working on refining a cheap and efficient solar concentrator which could potentially reduce the cost of producing a KW of energy via solar power by up to 50 per cent.

    RGU will host a series of workshops during British Science Week, giving people the opportunity to operate an ROV, get to grips with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and learn about new materials and their composites.
