We have worked with many clients, globally and in the UK, to deliver development solutions in healthcare settings.
Remote Healthcare Course - A delivery in Kuala Lumpur to a major oil company
Following discussion of a bespoke Remote Healthcare short course between leaders from Robert Gordon University and Shell in the latter half of 2013, a course curriculum was determined and a timetable for delivery of the pilot run was finalised in the January 2014. The venue for the pilot run of the course was Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and a face to face intensive week was delivered in early April 2014. Participants included remote medics from Shell, ExxonMobil, ISOS, BP, ConocoPhillips, Petronas Carigali, Talisman, and from Perdana University, Malaysia and the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Health, Malaysia (AOEMM).
Solution Focused Action Learning Sets - An innovative delivery to a Scottish NHS Trust
In 2012 we developed Solution Focused Action Learning Sets (SFALS) in
response to a request from a Scottish NHS Trust to ensure that the
skills their staff developed on our training course were not lost after
training was completed. In consultation with the Trust, we researched
traditional Action Learning Sets and, combining this in a solution
focused model, developed SFALS as a way of embedding the new skills into
the existing pattern of practice by working with practitioners and
their managers to ensure they remained engaged with the new practice.
This proved highly successful for the Trust, and
has been the basis for further work with two further NHS Trusts.
