UK Student Recruitment Team

The UK Student Recruitment Team delivers a range of professional services to promote the University and to actively recruit students from across Scotland and the UK.

Services to external partners and stakeholders include:

• Developing relationships with High Schools and Colleges to support their students with their interest in progressing to university level education.
• Representing the University at education exhibitions, including briefing and supporting other members of staff on recruitment activities across Scotland and the UK.
• Delivering and facilitating a range of topical workshops and educational events - on and off-campus.
• Project management of the University’s major on-campus recruitment events such as Open Days and Discovery Days
• Providing advice on education systems and entry requirements.

Services to internal partners and stakeholders include:

• Informing marketing on collateral for all student recruitment activities in the UK.
• Providing market and competitor analysis to help inform the recruitment strategy, including new product development.
• Representing Robert Gordon University with external bodies such as HELOA.

Applicant Experience Team

From initial enquiry through to enrolment, the Applicant Experience Team provides ongoing advice to future students to the University through dedicated telephone support, outreach digital communications, online and on campus event support and direct mail outs.  Utilising a range of platforms and tools to increase communication pathways to the University, the team ensures timely, supportive, and bespoke communications are sent to all audiences to support their applicant experience.

The Applicant Experience Team also supports Student Recruitment by initiating contact with current students who have opportunities to further their studies with the University.

International Student Recruitment Team

The International Student Recruitment Team provides advice and support to international students wishing to study in the UK, and manages the University’s overseas agent network, relationships with key international sponsors and education institutions which we have progression and articulation agreement with.
