20, July, 2017 Year of international graduations for Veronica
There will be three reasons for graduation celebrations in three different countries for Veronica Cunningham and her daughters Rachel and Zara this year. Veronica, originally from Sligo and Galway in Ireland but now based in Oslo, Norway graduated as one of RGU's first cohort of Doctor of Information Science (DInfSc) students. Rachel meanwhile graduates with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Parsons New School in Paris and Zara graduates with a BSc International Business Administration from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
19, July, 2017 Lisa meets challenge of five-year plan
Seeing her younger sister graduate was the inspiration that Lisa Michie needed to encourage her to go back to university. Lisa, from Banchory, first went to university straight from school to study law, didn’t enjoy the course so she left and started working. But after watching Nicola graduate, she sat down at New Year 2012/2013 and created a five-year plan for herself. She has now checked one of her biggest goals off her list by graduating from RGU with BA (Hons) Business Management.

Lifelong friends Katie Robbie and Rosie Hislop have graduated from RGU the same way they began nursery – side by side. The pair took to the stage to collect honours degrees in Management with Marketing at the ceremony at His Majesty’s Theatre.

A former Fraserburgh Academy pupil with a passion for music and dreams of opening her own music business has taken the next steps along her career path after graduating with a first class honours degree in International Business Management from RGU.
Growing up a small town with high ambitions, Eva Armour always aspired to go to university, gain independence and meet new people. Eva, from Campbeltown, certainly achieved that when she graduated with a from RGU. She now intends to build on that to pursue a career in the fashion industry.
