Aberdeen Youth Games 2017

Aberdeen Youth Games 2017

Around 1,400 primary school pupils from across Aberdeen had a ball at the 2017 Aberdeen Youth Games Festival of Sport, organised by RGU’s sport science team and Sport Aberdeen. The pupils were coached in hockey, rugby and basketball by second year Applied Sport and Exercise Science students, as part of their student placements. Everyone was cheered on by ambassadors and VIPs including Dame Katherine Grainger, Sir Ian Wood, former Scotland hockey captain Leigh Fawcett and rower Lewis McCue.
