Union Street is a 20-25 minute walk or 5-10 minutes by bus. The bus stop for buses to campus is a 2 minute walk and the bus takes 35-40 minutes or a 1 hour 20 minute walk. There is a Tesco Express a few minutes away and Morrisons is 10 minutes’ walk.

Number of Residents

Trinity Court is resident to approximately 500 students in total, across multiple years of study at Robert Gordon University, University of Aberdeen and North East Scotland College. (Your flat will only be shared with other students on an RGU lease). RGU allocate up to 200 students with an RGU lease.

Site Layout

Flats are part of a large complex located around an large central courtyard. There are 19 four-storey blocks (no lift) each with 8-10 flats for 3-4 students plus 10 3-person maisonettes over two floors. RGU students will be in 3-bed flats or maisonettes only.

Most blocks are accessible from both the central courtyard and the adjacent street. One way car park entry and exit via gate entry from Pittodrie Place and Pittodrie Street.

Flat Facilities

Communal kitchen with open plan lounge and 3 bedrooms accessed from a corridor. Maisonettes have two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom off the lounge. One shared bathroom with shower over bath with a sink and toilet.

Parking

On-site parking is available and permits are required. These can be obtained on arrival from Ardmuir staff at the on-site office. Contact 07768 164704 to make an appointment. Permits cost £200 for the duration of your lease. Lockable bike sheds with numeric locks are available on-site. Students will be issued with the code on arrival (if required) and there is no charge for this facility.

Transport

Bus routes 1 and 2 from nearby King Street direct to campus, 35-40 minutes via the city centre. The campus is 75 minutes walk and the city centre is 25 minutes walk. Plan your route on Google Maps between Trinity Court and the campus, or between Trinity Court and the city centre.

  • Each flat has its own washing machine for you to use meaning no additional laundry fees.
  • The development was originally built as private flats so each flat has a homely feel to it and even includes a dishwasher!
  • This is the only site where the kitchen is fully kitted out with cutlery, crockery and pots and pans.
  • All flats are for 3 students and although a large site, it has a quieter feel than some of our other sites and is especially popular with older and postgraduate students.
  • If you’re sporty or outdoorsy, there’s lots going on locally including Aberdeen Sports Village, Transition Extreme, Linx Ice Arena and the beach all within 15 minutes’ walk.
