Academic practice

Academic practice works to support the professional standing of the university’s teaching staff, together with supporting the enhancement of the student experience across our courses and programmes.

The E-learning team are responsible for the development of technology to support learning and teaching, including the university’s virtual learning environment CampusMoodle.  This team also supports staff in the use of technology, ensuring RGU has the capability to deliver high quality and effective e-learning.

Study Support

Study Support works to enable all students at RGU to develop the skills that will allow them to become independent learners and fulfil their academic potential while at university.  The team provide one-to-one, group and embedded support to students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Wider Access and Outreach

This team works in partnership across the University and with external partners, to co-ordinate the university’s work to widen participation in higher education.  This team also supports the university’s work with partner colleges, most notably North East Scotland College.
