Northern Research Partnership (NRP)
NRP is a partnership of the University of Aberdeen, the Robert Gordon University, and the University of Dundee. The goal of NRP is to develop a critical mass of research excellence in engineering and related disciplines. NRP, together with the Edinburgh and Glasgow Research Partnerships form the Scottish Research Partnership.

Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA) 
The Robert Gordon University is a founding member of SICSA, the research pooling for Computing in Scotland. SICSA is a collaboration of the leading Scottish Universities in Computing whose goal is to develop and extend Scotland's position as a world leader in Informatics and Computer Science research.

NSRI (National Subsea Research Institute) logo

National Subsea Research Institute (NSRI)
NSRI is a partnership of the University of Aberdeen, the Robert Gordon University, the University of Dundee, Newcastle University and Subsea UK. In collaboration with subscribing industry members, NSRI provides a focus on research and development and establishes research priorities for the subsea industry. 

 

Scottish Graduate School of Social Science
Robert Gordon University is a partner in the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science, the largest of the ESRC's UK-wide Doctoral Training Centres formed in 2011. SGSSS is a unique collaboration between universities in Scotland and makes available outstanding research training to doctoral students in the social sciences. Within SGSSS we are one of four university partners in the UK's only ESRC approved Information Science Doctoral Training Pathway.

Scottish Academy of Fashion
The Scottish Academy of Fashion brings together research strengths in four partner universities, Edinburgh College of Art, Heriot-Watt University, Robert Gordon University and Glasgow Caledonian University. Working in close partnership with industry we undertake cross-disciplinary research in fashion, technology, textiles and design.
