School of Computing Science and Digital Media Prizegiving round up


The School of Computing Science and Digital Media celebrated its annual prizegiving ceremony at the start of July, with more than 50 students from all courses being presented with a range of awards.

Thomas McMillan, computing prizegiving 2015The awards are sponsored by a range of companies including ConocoPhillips, Servelec Controls, Atlas, Lockheed Martin, CISCO, TOTAL, Aventa Systems, BCS, Fugro, BP, Developers for Hire Ltd, Nexun Petroleum, Codify, Divex and Dynamic Edge.

Inverurie student wins prize for designing scout group trading website

Computer Science student Scott Adams (23) was awarded the Servelec Controls Ltd award for the Best Honours Project in Software Engineering.  

  

University prize for Lossiemouth student

Rebekah Hughes (20), who is studying Multimedia Development, was presented with the fourth year class prize at the School of Computing Science and Digital Media’s annual prize giving ceremony last week.

Prizes for outstanding Mearns students

Computer Science students Thomas McMillan (35), from Stonehaven and Fraser Barclay (19), from Portlethen, both picked up awards at the annual School of Computing Science and Digital Media prize giving ceremony.

Industry prize for Speyside computing student

Second year student Jemma Tansley (20) was awarded a ConocoPhillips prize at the School of Computing Science and Digital Media’s annual prize giving.  

University prizes for Huntly computing students

Computer Science student Michael Alexander (22) and Andrew MacLean (23), who is studying Business Information Technology, both picked up awards at the School of Computing Science and Digital Media’s annual prize giving ceremony last week.  

Saudi student puts in first class performance at RGU

A Saudi computing student is celebrating after picking up a university award for his outstanding academic performance.
