Keep up to date with Team RGU at the Commonwealth Games

Starting this week, the University’s strong presence on the international sporting stage will continue as a student, a member of staff and a graduate prepare to compete in the Commonwealth Games. 

Swimming champion Hannah Miley and Hockey stars Aimee Clarke and Leigh Fawcett will compete for Scotland at the 2010 Games, taking place in Delhi from Sunday 3rd to Thursday 14th October.

Live coverage will be provided by the BBC between channels one and two from 9am until 6pm and then again from 7pm until 10pm for highlights.  Red button and online coverage will run from 3am until 6pm.

The trio will compete at the following times (UK time):

Mon 4th
Hannah:              1206    200m IM final

Aimee & Leigh:    1430    Scotland v India

Tues 5th
Aimee & Leigh:    1400    Scotland v South Africa

Wed 6th
Hannah:              1216   200m breast stroke final
                          1252   4 x 200m freestyle final

Thurs 7th
Aimee & Leigh:     0630    Scotland v Trinidad & Tobago
 
Sat 9th
Aimee & Leigh:     0900    Scotland v Australia                
Hannah:              1207     400m IM final

Monday 11th

Aimee & Leigh:     0400     Playoffs
