Friends of ANCHOR is offering employees and students from NHS Grampian, University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University the opportunity to obtain a pilot project grant in the fields of Haematology and Oncology. Funding to a maximum of £10,000 is available for up to 10 suitable projects this year.
Projects can be based on clinical or laboratory based research. Funding is provided for materials and methods but not for salary or travel. Projects which are most likely to produce pilot data that will be used to attract formal external funding for a future project will be favoured.
Details and application forms are available on the Friends of ANCHOR website.
Completed applications for this years round of funding should be sent to Fiona Pearson: email@example.com by closing date of no later than Friday 12 November 2010.
