Open Days

Open Days are an important part of the process when choosing a university.

Open Day 2015

Our Open Days are your chance to experience the University's stunning buildings and superb facilities, learn more about our courses and talk to current students about student life.

Our undergraduate Open Days in 2017 will take place on

  • Saturday 2 September (10am - 2pm)
  • Wednesday 11 October (10am - 2pm)

Registration for Open Day is now open. Please click on the registration tab.

We will post a timetable and information booklet closer to the open day – but you can keep checking this page for regular updates!

We look forward to welcoming you on campus!

Visit Afternoons

If you are unable to attend an Open Day come along to one of our Visit Afternoons. We can show you around the facilities and arrange an opportunity to meet with a lecturer from the course/s you're interested in.

For further information and to register:

To arrange a visit, you can contact us at or on (01224) 262248. Please note that we require at least a weeks notice for each visit.

Free Shuttle Bus

Our free shuttle bus will operate approximately every hour throughout the day, from a temporary bus stop on College Street.

A team of student ambassadors in hard to miss purple hoodies will be on hand at the railway station concourse nearby to guide you to the College Street stop. The shuttle bus will stop outside the Health and Social Care Building at our Garthdee campus.

Please be aware that the shuttle bus will operate on a first come, first served basis, so if it is very busy, you may wish to use the regular number 1 or number 2 bus service from Union Street to get to our Garthdee Campus.

Car Parking

As there is no access to the campus car parks on during the week, including Open Days on Wednesdays, we recommend that you park in the public car parks in the city centre and make use of our free shuttle bus from College Street. Alternatively, use the  number 1 or number 2 bus service  from Union Street.

Campus parking restrictions are lifted during weekends, so you can park in a visitor's space on campus when visiting our Saturday Open Days.
