Assessments are an important part of your learning experience, but can be stressful if not managed effectively. The following advice will help you to organise and keep on top of your assessment workload.

• Access your Student Handbook and other course information for an overview of the assessment approaches for your course
• Ensure you know the date, time and place for submission of your work
• Get all the information you need from your academic tutor e.g. assessment guideline
• Be sure to access academic support if you need it
• Plan ahead so that you have organised your study to include time for research and independent study for your assessment
• Familiar yourself with:
  • Academic Regulations
  • Study Skills and Access Unit
  • Library Services

The most important thing is to seek support as soon as possible if you think you need it. Your academic tutor, personal tutor or other members of the course team will be happy to provide information when you need it. The University mitigation and extension forms are useful resources if you find that you need them.

Stationery

Stationery can be bought at both campus sites. In Garthdee, Blackwells sells basic stationery from the Aberdeen Business School atrium and the Student Union shop on Schoolhill sells a range of goods.
