The Georgina Scott Sutherland Library is the larger of the University's libraries. It serves as the administrative headquarters of the library service housing the offices of the Director of Knowledge and Information Services and the Library Management Team.

The Library is located at the Garthdee campus within the Aberdeen Business School building. Library opening hours include evenings and weekends. Travel information is available.

Students and staff must show matriculation and staff cards on entering the building. Members of the public should report to the Reception Desk in the entrance atrium to obtain a temporary pass. Disabled access is available and lifts provide access to all floors. Please contact the Enquiry Point if you would like to use the lift.

Seminar Room

Groups of students may book time to work together (maximum 2 hours) in the seminar room. Bookings can be made at the Issue Desk.

Slides and Antiquarian Collection

The library holds an extensive collection of slides and a collection of antiquarian books.
