Business Skills for Growth

1. Overview

Robert Gordon University in partnership with the European Social Fund has launched Business Skills for Growth in order to provide free business skills training to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Aberdeen City and Shire.

Business Skills for Growth is supported by a steering group of local partners including the Federation of Small Businesses, Enterprise North East Trust, Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce, Learndirect Scotland for Business and Aberdeen City Council.

2. What you will study

There are twelve short courses available in each of the following key areas:

  • Creative Marketing
  • Finance
  • E-business
  • Enterprise skills
  • Law
  • Leadership
  • Sustainability

Each short course is delivered through a 'three hour' interactive workshop at the University with additional learning material available online. Find out more about the dates on the Workshop timetable - Cohort 2.
