Minor Injuries Discharge 5 credits at SCQF level 11

1. Overview

This course aims to equip the student with the knowledge, understanding and skill to underpin clinical decision making in non-medical discharge of patients with musculoskeletal minor injuries in an accident and emergency setting.

The course is aimed at graduates with an honours degree in Diagnostic Radiography, Nursing or a relevant Allied Health Profession with a minimum of 3 years experience in imaging or treatment of musculoskeletal minor injuries.

3. Entry Requirements

BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography, Nursing or a relevant Allied Health Profession, plus a minimum of 3 years experience in imaging or treatment of musculoskeletal minor injuries.
