This course aims to facilitate first level registered nurses to build short courses (modules) to equate to the final year of an ordinary degree programme (120 SCQF points at levels 9/10). This course is currently under development, please contact Pamela Kirkpatrick, course leader on 01224 262957 for further information.
You may draw from modules approved for this course from across the post-registration framework.
The successful completion of any four modules (60 SCQF points) will lead to the fulfilment of the requirements for the award of a Graduate Certificate in Professional Studies; the successful completion of eight modules (120 SCQF points) will lead to the fulfilment of the requirements for the award of BA Professional Nursing Studies. The flexible, modular, credit-rated framework allows you as a first level nurse to undertake life long learning with the potential to attain a degree qualification.
