Application Procedure

Students interested in studying at SAMK will be nominated by RGU. Nominated students will then be able to apply through SAMK's online application system. 

Once students have completed the online application form they are expected to submit the following supporting documents; A photo, A motivation Letter, A Transcript of Records, A fully completed and signed Learning Agreement.

Students who wish to undertake exchanges in Nursing will be expected to provide proof of vaccinations, including MRSA, VRE, MMR, Chicken Pox, Tetanus D, Hepatitis B, Diptheria, and Polio. Criminal background checks ma also be required.

SAMK will contact students directly to let them know whether or not they have been successful with their application.

Accommodation provided

Accommodation will be reserved for incoming students by SAMK so long as it is indicated on the application form that the student would like accommodation.

Between € 300,- and € 400,-

Depends on the residence, generally rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, chair, storage space, etc.

Cleaning service and how frequent

It is uncommon in Finland for a cleaning service to be provided, generally upkeep of the accommodation is up to the students, this includes the common areas.

SAMK works with local accommodation providers to allocate accommodation for exchange students.
