Robert Gordon University is proud to be one of the UK's largest recruiters of Nigerian students. We have developed a good understanding of the Nigerian education system and also the interests of Nigerian students.

Subject areas which are popular with our Nigerian students include courses at the Energy Centre, Aberdeen Business School and also our Schools of Computing and Pharmacy & Life Sciences.

Entry Requirements

The following information is for guidance only and should be used together with the University's general entrance requirements and any specific degree programme requirements.

Applications are considered on an individual basis and other qualifications / work experience may be taken into consideration.

Post Graduate Courses

  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university at 2.2 or higher* Please note that exceptions can be made for some of our Energy Centre Courses.*
  • WAEC Senior School certificate with most recent English grade. The English result should be a C6 or above, or an additional English language qualification such as IELTS or TOEFL will be required. 

Undergraduate Courses

Students with qualifications from any international high school are expected to have results comparable to students from UK institutions.
