We have been welcoming students from the US for a number of years to Robert Gordon University. Attracted firstly by our career focused courses, many of our US students then fall in love with our location. Aberdeen is surrounded by sweeping hills on one side, and miles of sandy beaches to the other.
Many of our US students chose to study in our Faculty of Health and Social Care. Our MSc Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) Pre-registration is the only course in the UK to be
recognised by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
(CAPTE). Graduates from this course can therefore go on to pursue their career
in North America as well as a range of other
countries across the globe.

The British Council and Scottish Government are pleased to announce the Scotland's Saltire Scholarships scheme.
There will be a total of 200 awards made under this scheme to students applying from Canada, China, India and USA. The awards will be open to students who are pursuing a taught one year Masters degree at a Scottish University. Successful scholars will be offered a scholarship totalling £2000. Students from the above countries can apply for the scholarship when they hold a Conditional Offer or an Unconditional Offer from the respective Scottish institutions.
