There has been a considerable increase in the number of Russian students wanting to come to our university.
Our courses are popular because of our strong links with the Oil and Gas Industry. Being located in Aberdeen, Scotland (commonly known as the Oil and Gas capital of Europe) we offer a number of Energy related programmes at both Bachelors and Masters level. Russian students have also expressed strong interest in a wide range of our programmes including:

Entry Requirements
The following information is for guidance only and should be used together with the University's general entrance requirements and any specific degree programme requirements.
Applications are considered on an individual basis and other qualifications / work experience may be taken into consideration.
Undergraduate Courses
• Students with qualifications from any international high school (A level or International Baccalaureate) are expected to have results comparable to students from UK institutions.
• Students with exceptional grades at Attestat level maybe considered for entry onto Year 1 of our Bachelors programmes but on a case by case basis. In all cases students should enquire directly to our Undergraduate Admissions Team - UGOffice@rgu.ac.uk
• We will consider students for Year 1 or Year 2 entry onto our Bachelors programmes from students who have successfully completed Year 1 of any Specialist Diploma/Bakalavr/Magistrar programme with a GPA of 4.0 or above.
• Entry requirements for undergraduate courses are listed on the course information pages under Areas of Study.
Post Graduate Courses
• Students should hold a Magistrar, Specialist Diploma or Bakalavr qualification with a GPA of 4.0 or above
• Under the Bologna process students should hold a Second Class Lower Division pass or higher

Scholarships
Full Scholarships
Robert Gordon University is pleased to announce that it will be offering a Russian national a full scholarship for entry onto anyone of our Masters/Postgraduate full-time taught programmes starting in September 2012.
Merit-based Scholarships
In addition to the full scholarship opportunity students can also apply for a merit based scholarship. In order to do this you will need to submit a separate application as this scheme is run independently of the full scholarship scheme. Applying for a merit based scholarship in addition to the full scholarship increases your chances of winning some form of scholarship. If you are unsuccessful with your full scholarship application you will still be in a position to be considered for one of our merit based awards.
