Undergraduate Students

If and how you pay fees will very much depend on where you are from. Please see the information below on paying your fees.

Undergraduate students studyingScottish and EU Students

Scottish and EU undergraduate students should apply to the Students Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) for funding. You should do this in advance and have confirmation of your funding before you enrol.

If you are repeating a year of your course or moving from an HND course to a degree course you may not be eligible for SAAS funding. You are strongly encouraged to check your position with SAAS as quickly as possible. If you delay it will restrict your options for paying the fees due.

England, Wales and Northern Ireland

Students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland have to pay tuition fees. Indicative details about the tuition fees payable for those starting courses in 2011 can be found on each course page. Tuition fee loans are available and it may be possible to make arrangements with the University to pay by instalments.

You must apply for funding directly to the appropriate body:

If you are repeating a year of your course you may not be eligible for funding and you are strongly encouraged to check your position with your funding body as quickly as possible.

Fees for 2012/13

The Scottish Government has put forward proposals to change the levels of tuition fees that Scottish universities can charge students who have lived for the last three years in England, Wales or Northern Ireland from the academic year 2012/2013. Robert Gordon University's Board of Governors has approved the university's fee structure for rest of UK students for 2012 entry.

These indicative fees will be published on course pages as they become available.

International Students

International (Non EU) students are liable to pay fees. Full information about tuition fee amounts for entry in 2011 can be found in the course pages.

If you are not eligible for government funding, visit our section on Full Time Self Funding Students for more information on how to pay your fees.
