Kazakhstan

The Bolashak scholarship programme is an initiative of the Kazakh Government to generously fund hundreds of bright young Kazakhs to study abroad at top universities.

Both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in priority subjects are funded at the discretion of the Government.

The Centre for International Programmes (CIP) in Astana manages the programme on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Education.

Robert Gordon University is pleased to welcome several Bolashak scholars to Aberdeen each year. You may apply through the Centre for International Programmes in one of two ways: you may either ask the CIP to locate a university place for you, or you may obtain an offer of admission to a university and then apply for the Bolashak funding. Our students tend to choose the second option, as this can speed up the process of obtaining a scholarship.
