The ACCESS RGU Accommodation Scholarship is open to undergraduate students studying on any degree course at RGU.

The scholarship provides free accommodation at an Ardmuir student property in Aberdeen for the first year of a degree programme.

Successful applicants will be supported by the student support staff at the Department for the Enhancement of Learning, Teaching and Access (DELTA). This is a student led process to facilitate both academic and personal success.

Eligibility Criteria

ACCESS RGU scholarships are aimed at applicants who are traditionally under-represented in higher education.

To be eligible for consideration, you must, at the point of applying to RGU, reside in a postcode area which is regarded by the Scottish Government as being within the 20% (Quintiles 1) most deprived regions of the country as categorised by Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD).

In addition, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Enrol full time in the first year of your chosen undergraduate degree programme at RGU
  • Be Scottish domiciled and classed as a ‘home fees student’
  • Have not already obtained a first degree

This scholarship is available to students on any undergraduate degree programme.
