The Convention Bureau exists to support local academics in bringing conferences and events to Aberdeen. The scheme allows you to showcase your research and raise your profile within your area of expertise, giving your subject matter a wider audience as a result of Aberdeen Convention Bureau's assistance and promotion. By putting Aberdeen forward as a destination for a future society, association, institution or organisation conference or event, we can offer the following free and impartial services:
- Preparation of bid documents
- Site inspection and familiarisation visits
- Pre-marketing
- Venue location and reservation
- Accommodation booking service
- Social programmes and provision of visitor information
