Research Interests / Professional Background

I am a confident and self-motivated chartered engineer (CEng) with can-do attitude, possessing over 10 years of research, consultancy and teaching (FHEA) experinece in Mechanical Engineering. My experience is broad and wide-ranging covering oil/gas,renewable engergy/sustainability and aeospace/automobile industry.

I presently engage in the renewable energy technology development; mainly wind turbine, tidal and wave energy extraction devices and continue to utilise the expertise on analytical, experimetal and numerical fluid mechanics and aeroacoustics. Using expertise in aeroacoustics to improve one of the main concerns of wind-power generation namely, environmental noise issues and to improve aerodynamic efficiency, thereby enhancing power generation.

Additional Information / Media work / Funding

I possess diversified knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and capability of use of advanced analytical techniques for solution of complex engineering problems. My technical expertise ranging from Engineering Design (AutoCAD/Solidworks) and Fluid/Solid Mechanics (CFD/CAA/FEA – Ansys Fluent) to Controls (MatLab – Simulink) and Instrumentation (LabVIEW) with an excellent track record of Project Management skills.

My personal interests include Sports (Athletics, Cricket and F1) and Sight-seeing.
