Duties and Responsibilities
Dr Yvonne Turner is a lecturer in the Management department and her teaching interests lie in the areas of Cross-cultural and Strategic Management, International Business and Research Methods. She has worked as an academic since 1995, in a range of lecturing and academic management roles. In the 1990s, she was responsible for the development of a transnational Sino-UK business degree in Beijing, China, where she lived and worked for several years. Her teaching activities have focused on Cross-cultural and Strategic Management, International Business and Research Methods, with a special focus on Business in China.
Her research interests focus on cultural pedagogy, cross-cultural learning and management, and the internationalization of higher education. She has been involved in a wide range of educational development and consultancy projects in the area of Higher Education internationalization and working with international students.
