Huda is a part time Lecturer in Architectural Technology and acts as School Research Degree Coordinator. Her research interests are mainly focused on the impact of Computer Aided Architectural Design (CAAD) and Information Technology (IT) on the conceptual phase of design, visual thinking and decision making.

Module Coordinator (Work Based Learning Dissertation + Industry Based Project).
Supervision of BSc, MSc and PhD students.
Development of potential ideas for research proposals.

Research Interests

Research interests are mainly focused on Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Information Technology (IT) in the conceptual phase of design processes or construction, whether this aid is for decision making, planning strategies, public participation or sustainability agenda. In addition to Digital design, 3D Digital sketching, CAD applications in architectural education, CAAD teaching methods and design theory, CAD effect on perception and the conceptual design thinking, and Design visualisation.
