Role and Responsibilities
Dr Susan Hamilton is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance with teaching interests in Financial Accounting and in Management Accounting with a particular interest in teaching Stages 1 and 2 of the degree programme.
Susan is the course leader for the BA Accounting with CIMA Advanced Diploma and Head of Year 1 on the Accounting and Finance degree programme. Her responsibilities for the Stage 1 students include both their academic and their pastoral wellbeing.
Susan is a member of the Governance and Society theme research group within the Institute for Management Governance and Society (IMAGES) Research Institute. Her research interests are in accounting education, in particular professional identity formation and professional development.
