Duties and Responsibilities

Dr Susan Hamilton is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance with teaching interests in Financial Accounting and in Management Accounting with a particular interest in teaching Stages 1 and 2 of the degree programme.

Susan is the course leader for the BSc Accounting with CIMA Advanced Diploma and Head of Year 1 on the Accounting and Finance degree programme. Her responsibilities for the Stage 1 students include both their academic and their pastoral wellbeing.

Research Interests

Susan is a member of the Governance and Society research group within Aberdeen Business School. Her research interests are in accounting education, in particular professional identity formation and professional development.
