Duties and Responsibilities

Erica Cargill is a Senior Lecturer in Management. She is Programme Leader for the Undergraduate Management courses at Aberdeen Business School. The course portfolio comprises:

  • BA(Hons) Management
  • BA(Hons) Management with Finance
  • BA(Hons) Management with HRM
  • BA(Hons) International Business Management
  • BA(Hons) Management with Marketing

Erica’s main teaching and research interests are in the areas of Learning and Development, specifically Work Based Learning and Professional Education and also Employee Resourcing and Talent Management.

Academic Background

Erica has an LLB (Hons) from Aberdeen University and an MSc HRM (with distinction) from Aberdeen Business School. She is currently working on a DBA thesis (2013-2018) which considers the impact of e-portfolio assessment on work-based learners.
