Student Ambassadors

We are looking for current students (second year onwards) to work with our schools liaison team as Student Ambassadors - supporting new students and helping to promote the university.

  • Student AmbassadorsYou will be asked to represent the University at a variety of events such as:
  • Open days/visit afternoons/applicants days
  • Visits to secondary schools
  • Careers Fairs & alumni receptions
  • Robert Gordon University campus tours

The number of hours will vary from month to month and you can work as much as you feel able. You will be paid £6.99 per hour, rising to £7.18 after one year.

The Student Services Department also offers a Volunteer Student Ambassador Scheme.
Volunteer Ambassadors assist International Advisers, InfoZone, Accommodation and Library at the start of term. Flexible, part-time shifts are available. These positions are voluntary (ie non-paid) however rewards include being signed up to the MV Award scheme and receiving a letter of recommendation, in addition to the satisfaction of helping new students with university life. This will be really helpful for enhancing your CV when it comes to looking for full-time work.
