Introduction to Cloud Computing
1. Overview
Cloud computing, which includes the purchase of computing services on a pay-as-you-go basis, look likely to revolutionise the ways businesses access information technologies.
This one day course provides a strategic overview of the key business opportunities and challenges presented by these technologies.
2. What you will study
This course will provide a broad overview of Cloud Computing and its business impact. We will explore key concepts in Cloud Computing, different services provided on the Cloud, and issues in migrating to the Cloud. Our discussion will also cover selected Cloud service providers and the products they offer.
3. How you will learn
The course will use an appropriate mix of lecture presentations, case studies, demonstrations and group work.
