Two students from the School of Engineering have been rewarded for academic excellence by the Intervention and Coiled Tubing Association European Chapter (ICoTA).

Ndwuke Chima received the prize for Best Overall Drilling and Well Engineering Student. Nnamdi Obinna won the award for the Best Overall Student in the Advanced Engineering module. The award was presented to them by Frank Rattray from Marathon Oil and Chairman of ICoTA.

Mr Rattray said "Our aim in awarding these prizes is to recognise the best, and most committed students studying on Well Intervention-related MSc courses at Robert Gordon University. This year, I'm very pleased to be able to announce that again, two outstanding students have been selected. They will each receive a cash prize and membership of ICoTA for 2010."
