Grampian PR Group Prize
Martin Wright gained an HND in Communication with Media from Aberdeen College, before entering the third year of the Corporate Communication degree at RGU.
In 2007 he won the Grampian PR Group prize for the top PR student at Aberdeen College and upon his graduation in 2009 he won the Grampian PR Group prize for the top PR student at Robert Gordon University.
Martin reflected on this double achievement saying, "I enjoyed studying Corporate Communication and found it to be both interesting and challenging. It covered a broad range of subjects including PR, marketing, advertising and journalism which provided the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge in a number of different industries."
Martin said: “My experience studying at RGU provided me with the chance to meet and develop lasting friendships with colleagues, which will continue to be a strong asset for me. Studying alongside individuals from different backgrounds in particular, gave me the chance to think on a international level and provided a natural environment for innovation and creativity.
"For me, the honours year and putting together a dissertation was a unique opportunity to explore an area of my personal interest in a professional setting, and with the support of the University and academic expertise provided, it helped me produce a piece of work that I can be proud of long after my student years."
