 dePICT is an RGU led initiative to support businesses in their ICT product research and development.

• Our aim is to help you create new and improved products with increased marketability and routes to global exploitation, at the same time building long term relationships with growing companies.
• We can connect you with experts from three major universities in areas such as cloud computing, cognitive engineering, Artificial Intelligence and video communication.
• We will work closely with innovative SMEs to undertake initial feasibility studies leading to further R&D funding opportunities

dePICT is a project within the IDEAS Research Institute. The Digital Technologies research staff within the Institute support the project.

Project innovation is driven by the Joint Research Institute for Computational Systems (JRIcs). This pools computing expertise from the three universities:

dePICT is an initiative led by Robert Gordon University that aims to establish a new and innovative collaborative pooling network of academia and Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the North East of Scotland, Highlands and Lowlands.

It is driven by the JRIcs, which is part of the Northern Research Partnership in Engineering, funded by the Scottish Funding Council.

The Joint Research Institute for Computational Systems (JRIcs) pools expertise from:
