MSc Purchasing and Supply Chain Management

This course is suitable for professionals who wish to develop knowledge, understanding and business management skills in the fields of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. The degree enables the student to focus on a specialised and strategically important aspect of business. A wide range of analytical concepts and models are explored to encourage their application in contemporary organisational contexts.

The core subject areas develop transferable management skills enabling organisational and contextual linkage with the specialist areas of Procurement and The Supply Chain. The specialist subject areas aim to develop an understanding and application of the concepts and frameworks which could be taken back into the workplace. The dissertation stage enables in-depth research to be undertaken investigating organisations' challenges in this field.

You can study this course full-time, part-time or by distance learning.

3. Entry requirements

Applicants will require a good honours degree. Those who do not possess an honours degree but have a degree or degree equivalent qualification and work experience at a suitable level within an organisation for an appropriate length of time, will be considered. Qualifications from an approved professional body will also be taken into account.

All international students for whom English is not their first language must provide evidence of linguistic ability, by gaining either IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent in TOEFL prior to receiving an unconditional offer of a place on the course.
