Weekend Life Study (All levels | EXTRA)
An opportunity to spend a weekend of concentrated study, working from the human form in the drawing studios of Gray’s School of Art.
This course will begin with a professional model presenting a structured series of short poses followed by one sitting for the remainder of the weekend. Students will be encouraged to practise intuitive, analytical and investigative observational study.
Students may draw or paint their final outcome. This course will support traditional & experimental life study techniques, enabling the challenge of artistic abilities & boundaries with like-minded fellow artists with support from an experienced tutor.

Some experience of drawing the human form is recommended. Students will receive tuition on a one-to-one basis.

Course fee: £130 (Life model provided all day. Includes basic drawing materials)
Successful enrolment will be confirmed by email.
All students should be aware that when registering as a student at RGU they are accepting a contract of enrolment. (In order to attend short courses all students must register and accept RGU’s conditions).
A refund is only applicable where there has been illness with a medical certificate to support it.

5. Materials and Resources
Students are welcome to bring any art materials they wish to support their drawing practice with.
Studio equipment: easels, trestles, and drawing-boards will be provided.
Basic drawing materials will be provided: Paper support, graphite, charcoal, ink etc.
A complete health and safety induction will take place on commencement of the course.
