Understand why linen creases and wool is so springy.
Students will learn about fibres and fabrics in a hands-on day of textile exploration.
Knowing about fibres and fabric construction is the basis for successful fashion design but also changes your everyday appreciation of any textiles.
Handling fibres, discussing their origins, looking at fabrics, deconstructing them and playing with techniques will open your world. It will also help you know what to buy for your garment making projects.
