4 Day Jewellery School (Intermediate| EXTRA)
A Short Course Extra opportunity to spend 4 days learning cuttlefish and delft clay casting with an introduction to stone setting.
With support and tuition on hand from our experienced lecturer and jewellery designer Duncan Grant.
2. What you will study
This jewellery course will teach students how to realise their own designs in silver using the techniques of cuttlefish and delft clay casting.
There will also be the opportunity to try rub or bezel setting a round cabochon stone, and for those who have experience of this already to explore gypsy setting.
3. Entry Requirements
This workshop is not suitable for complete beginners. Students require previous experience in jewellery making techniques.

Course Fees: £310 (Includes basic printing materials)

All students should be aware that when registering as a student at RGU they are accepting a contract of enrolment. (In order to attend short courses all students must register and accept RGU’s conditions).
A refund is only applicable where there has been illness with a medical certificate to support it.

Students are encouraged to bring a sketchbook for taking notes, and have a visual diary/scrapbook.
Workshop tools will be provided by Gray’s School of Art.
All materials will be provided including silver, cuttlefish, copper and stones.
A complete health and safety induction will take place on commencement of the course.
