All the qualifications you can study at RGU in Laboratory, Biomedical and Sports Sciences are highly respected and offer good career prospects.
Studying for a qualification in Laboratory, Biomedical or Sports Sciences provides students with a good grounding in analytical science in preparation for industry, as well as enabling graduates to follow a number of specialist career paths.
Graduates can apply for registration with the Health Professions Council as a biomedical scientist.
The Forensic Science BSc was the first course of its kind in Scotland to have been
accredited by the Forensic Science Society, the profession’s UK body.
Students benefit from a placement module which facilitates networking and
emphasises how theory translates into practice. The course is accredited by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK) which allows graduates to be professional body composition analysts at level I standard.
