It was a proud week in the Jackson household in Aberdeen when 22-year-old Chloe Jackson and her dad Billy Jackson graduated from Robert Gordon University (RGU) within 24 hours of one another. First to graduate was Chloe who received a BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management on July 12. The following day Billy, a lecturer in Occupational Health in RGU’s School of Nursing and Midwifery, graduated with a PGCert Learning, Teaching and Assessment (Nursing and Midwifery).
05, July, 2017 North East boys learn that nursing is for them
A group of primary school pupils from Aberdeenshire got an insight into the nursing profession recently, when they took part in a day of activities at Robert Gordon University (RGU).
“Even though it was a distance learning course the support provided with excellent communication through various means made me feel a great part of the university, as though I was physically on campus. The course is very beneficial for one’s nursing career and that the support provided will make this education experience a positive one.”
