The Talisman Scholarship is open to first year students and provides significant opportunities for prospective students at the Robert Gordon University. This prestigious award provides funding support up to the value of £15,000 throughout your studies.
Talisman Energy (UK) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Talisman Energy Inc; a large, independent, oil and gas company, which is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.

The Scholarship
The Talisman Engineering scholar will qualify to receive funding support of £4000 each year for the first three years of the course, followed by £3000 grant in the final year of the course.
Successful Talisman scholars will have the additional benefit of being able to apply for a paid industrial placement at Talisman during their studies.

How to Apply
Applicants for the scholarship must have met the entry requirements of the UCAS offer from Robert Gordon University, and have formally accepted the offer.
Full details of the selection criteria are available with the application form. All applicants to the Scholarship will need to enrol on their chosen course at Robert Gordon University during September 2011.
The selection process begins with students completing an application form which will be reviewed by a panel consisting of representatives from the University and Talisman who will then shortlist a group of high academic performers. The award winner will be selected from this group of students.
Renewal of the award after each year is dependant on continued good academic performance.
