KCA Deutag
KCA Deutag is the largest platform drilling contractor in the UK sector of the North Sea, one of the largest international drilling contractors outside the Americas and a world leader in drilling engineering, drilling facilities engineering, rig design, construction and operation.
KCA Deutag employs over 5,000 people worldwide and from designing the next generation of drilling rigs and facilities to delivering highly complex drilling programmes.
The Scholarship
The KCA Deutag scholarship is open to third year students and offers £2,500 in both third and fourth years of study. Successful KCA Deutag Engineering scholars will also be provided with a paid work placement during the summer and an excellent mentoring programme.

How to Apply
The selection process begins with students completing an online application form.
Short listed candidates will be invited to attend an interview at KCA Deutag. Applicants will be assessed on academic performance and their interpersonal and leadership skills. Applicants should also show enthusiasm and commitment for a career in the dynamic energy.
Renewal of the award after each year is dependant on continued good academic performance.
