The Scholarship

The FMC Technologies Scholarship is open to third year students and offers an award totalling £3,500.

  • A bursary of £1,750 for each of the final 2 years of an approved degree programme
  • Full time employment for vocational placements
  • IMechE mentors assigned to support learning outcomes from vocational placements
  • Opportunity for employment following successful assessment and attainment of academic qualification

How to Apply

The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and personal characteristics. The selection process begins with students completing an online application form.

All applicants shall be reviewed by a panel of FMC Technologies and Robert Gordon University representatives and a short list of candidates selected. The candidates will then be invited to attend an FMC Technologies assessment day with an informal interview session as part of the final selection process.

FMC Technologies scholars will be required to attain satisfactory academic reports at the end of each and also perform well during vocational placements.

The closing date for applications is 28 October 2011. All applications must be received by that date in order to be considered for the scholarship.
