KCA Deutag Business Scholarship

KCA Deutag is the largest platform drilling contractor in the UK sector of the North Sea, and one of the world's leading drilling and engineering contractors in drilling engineering, drilling facilities engineering, rig design, construction and operation.

The company operates more than 100 drilling rigs in over 22 countries, employing people in Africa, Europe, Russia, Middle East, the Caspian Sea & South East Asia.

The Scholarship

The KCA Deutag scholarship is open to third year students and offers a paid, one year placement in Aberdeen in Year 3 of their course. 

The scholarship also provides funding support of £2,500 in Year 4 along with an excellent mentoring programme which runs throughout the Honours year. 

There is consideration for a place within the KCA Deutag Graduate Trainee Scheme on completion of the course. Further information can be downloaded below:

How to Apply

Applicants will be assessed on academic performance and their interpersonal and leadership skills. They should also show enthusiasm and commitment for a career in the dynamic energy industry. Short listed applicants will be invited to an interview at KCA Deutag.

Renewal of the award after each year is dependant on continued good academic performance.
