KCA Deutag Business Scholarship

KCA Deutag is the largest platform drilling contractor in the UK sector of the North Sea, one of the largest international drilling contractors outside the Americas and a world leader in drilling engineering, drilling facilities engineering, rig design, construction and operation.

The Scholarship

The KCA Deutag scholarship is open to third year students and offers, in year three of the course, a paid one year placement in Aberdeen.

The scholarship provides funding support of £2,500 in year four of the course along with an excellent mentoring programme which runs through the honours year, and consideration for a place within the KCA Deutag Graduate Trainee Scheme.

Eligible Courses

Applicants must be engaged in full-time study at Robert Gordon University on one of the undergraduate degree programmes listed below:

 

How to Apply

Applicants will be assessed on academic performance and their interpersonal and leadership skills. They should also show enthusiasm and commitment for a career in the dynamic energy industry. Short listed applicants will be invited to an interview at KCA Deutag.

Renewal of the award after each year is dependant on continued good academic performance.
